Don’t worry if you don’t have your own kit – there’s a skate shop, lockers and skate rentals onsite if you want to go for a casual spin while shopping at the mall.

Sky Rink – Well-established skating rink in Sham Shui Po

One of the oldest ice skating rinks in the city, Sky Rink is a Hong Kong classic. Not only does it offer figure skating as well as ice hockey lessons for young skaters looking for a new group sport to try out. You can also sign up for a parent-child skating course during the weekends. Please note that the website is not always updated, so it’s best to call the company to check.

The Rink Ice Skating

The Rink – Ice skating rink at Elements at Kowloon

The Rink is not your regular skating rink. Located in Elements, its “open rink” design enables you to pay as you skate. Queueing forever at the ticket booth? Not a problem anymore! The entrance fee is paid by your Octopus card, so don’t forget to top up before beeping in! Plus, this skating arena has a zero-emission ice resurfacing machine which magically produces no exhaust fumes or heat. Other than the open ice rink, you can also sign up for regular ice skating courses.

Opening Hours: 10am to 10pm (check the website as some slots are reserved for classes, rehearsals, ice hockey, etc.)
